Post Care Instructions
-
Your brows are currently bolder, more solid and darker than they will be when they are fully healed.
-
Brows should not be fully judged for 3 more weeks.
-
Tomorrow your brows will appear darker as they oxidize.
-
They will go through many changes including darkening, flaking, patchiness, lightening, this is all normal as long as post care instructions are closely followed.
-
Today they will form lymph fluid. This is a clear liquid that needs to get wiped off with a damp tissue every hour today. By wiping this fluid, you will avoid scabbing. After each wipe reapply the provided ointment with a q-tip, not fingers. If applying on brows use only the amount of a grain of rice on each brow. If applying to eyes and lips use as much as needed.
-
Repeat the wiping and ointment application every hour until bedtime, today only. No wiping after today.
-
Beginning tomorrow, brows only need ointment once a day, in the morning for 6 more days. Eyes and lips may use as much as necessary, however the area does not need to always be moist with ointment.
-
For brows, less is more with the ointment. Do not over apply ointment or color will fade.
-
If skin is very oily, only use ointment for 4 days total on brows.
-
Do not get brows wet for 7 days, eyes (lash line) for 2 days and lips 1 day.
-
Use Press and Seal by Glad or provided shield to protect brows from water during shower.
-
Wash face with a washcloth and wipe around face as opposed to splashing with water.
-
For lip and/or brow tattoo avoid sweating into brows and lip for 7 days. For liner tattoo avoid crying or one week.
-
We remove this color with saline and the salt in sweat or tears will cause patchy color.
-
Avoid direct sun on all tattooed areas for at least 7 days.
-
Avoid makeup on tattooed area for 7 days after treatment
-
Do not touch tattooed area unnecessarily
-
Call if anything unusual including persistent redness occurs
-
Follow all pre and post instructions for your included and future Follow-Ups
-
Remember this is a process. You are currently red and swollen. Any asymmetry can be corrected at the Follow-Up. In some cases, getting the perfect results requires more than two appointments.
